Greetings from the Critique Club: I have been assigned your photo to critique and here are my thoughts:

Personal Reaction: Cool. I have attempted many many photos of the London Eye. It is hard to take something new. You have given us a new and unique perspective on this London landmark. I like your creative take on it.

Composition: There are many things to like about the composition. The triangle formed by legs and ground is terrific! The wheel in the background is well placed in the frame. Having the shoes break the edges of the image was inspired.

Technicals: Focus is fine. DoF is good. But the image is a bit flat. Try increasing the contrast of the image just a bit and possibly sharpening a bit more. You can increase contrast in Photoshop with Image>Adjustment>Brightness/Contrast â€Â¦ or use a curves layer to increase mid-tone contrast. To sharpen you might try an Unsharp Mask filter. Other editing programs will have similar capabilities.

Conclusions: You have only entered a couple of challenges but I like what I see so far. Keep it up!

As always, this is my personal opinion. Feel free to PM me if you̢۪d like further dialog.

Cool idea. I like the circle within the triangle with squares & rectangles on the outside. Now if you could just move your left pantleg a wee little bit....

Great take on this challenge. I never ever tire of seeing the beautiful ways that London Eye is photographed here. I hope I can go there and get my own version of that lovely structure someday. This shows perfect perspective :)
