| nice font. i like the combination of everything in the photo and how the pledge allegiance paper is a slightly different shade than the book |

| Man this new screen urging you to leave comments for low votes is a pain. Basically, to me, this shot does not say any particular year to me. The lighting seems a little 'off' and the overall image has a bit of a hazy look to it. This is just my opinion. |

What year are you claiming to be born in, 1892 when the original was written or 1954, when the words 'under God' were added?

| what does this have to do with the year you were born, and what year was that, since it was not in the title.. did they start saying this in school that year? |

| Your black/white point seem off just a little.(blacks dont appear true black) or it might be just a lack of contrast. I appreciate your layout though. |

| Are you going for the year "under God" was added? Hard to tell. Maybe if the pledge card was sticking out from under a closed bible with "BIBLE" embossed on the front. Of course, disregard that comment if I totally missed the point here ;-) |

Take us back to yesteryear by photographing something that defined the year you were born. Start googling, looking through old news papers and magazines, and show us your photographic interpretation of the year of your birth. Your title should should include the year.
Doh! But a nice picture ... |
