| A nice image! Very simple, yet it pulls off the alone aspect of the challenge very well. I like the way the lighting is set up, is there additional lighting from above or is it all the candle? I wish there was a bit more focus, but overall it the photo is excellent. 8 |

| A sort of guide. The spherical shadow that is illuminated at the innermost point is a nice touch. |

| Technically, this is a great shot as I'm sure you had some difficulty getting the lighting just right, and obviously this image meets the challenge. From an interest perspective for me personally, I'm not really feeling it. However 2/3 is not bad. |

| nice. love the colors. interesting candle. another possibility is to try this with a more diagonal/less centered composition. perhaps with the candle further to the upper left or something would enhance the idea of 'alone' and strengthen the composition. i like it nevertheless. very simple. :o) |

Great photo, not helped by an uneven border.The border interferes with my ability to enjoy the photo, which is a huge shame. Great red colour. Score without border: Maybe 9.
