 Probably a bit too flat. Probably get points for a slightly blurred head and cropped head.
Not sure if people we "see" the tons of diagonals.

I'm confused by the background - the fireplace and the wooden box behind the dog are doing what for the photo? Some depth of field would (or lack of) would help.

I love the idea here. Just wish you hadn't cut off the top of Rover's head. Cute dog... How did you get him (or her) to just sit there? My dogs would have been all over those bones in a heartbeat.
