 ok, so, here's the story.

my friend (pictured) has a new boyfriend. a few weeks ago, while tipsy, he pointed to another friend's girl and said "that right there is the perfect woman because she knows how to clean a fish."

cut to me, squatting next to my friend's bathtub and shooting while she loofahs a fish from the asian market. this is going to make a nice christmas present for boyfriend...assuming he's around that long.

my favorite part is the shower cap on the fish. oh, how i hope you all notice it.

post-processing: used alien skin's exposure filter to boost the colors (i was just playing around). it also has a "soft glow" dealie that i tried out. the rest is just a bit of dodging and burning and cloning out some distracting crap around the tub (faucet, candle, blinds).

i have a difficult time working with skin tones. it's even worse when they are reflecting pink stripes.

Agree with Brad too .....totally hilarious! It's the gorgeously serious look on her face as she studies the fish, the gloves ..... and then there's that shower cap!! Brilliant!!!!

You've got to be kidding?!! This is so funny. What a clever photo and idea. I'm still chuckling.. I like your lighting, composition, the wallpaper and the color pink is perfect, but, the shower cap on the fish is priceless.
