However, e301 stopped to tell you he liked it - THAT is high praise indeed in my book.
I loved it then, I love it now. We need more shots like this on DPC - thank you for shooting and entering it. I'm glad you did. |

| way underrated. But its not DPC pretty and that's its problem. But that's also what makes it great. Ignore the score and keep shooting! |

| I don't really think your title works with the image - in either the straightforward sense of 'nice looking' of mythico-biblical one of The Fall. That said, I quite like the image - its absence of the sentimental careful lighting tricks makes it seem the more real for it. |

| I'll bet this isn't getting the respect it deserves - I like it a lot - that's why I think others don't - but I'm a sucker for those tiny slices of DOF, great lighting here and love the angled line running through the background to give it some energy 7 |

| It is an iteresting idea, but it doesn't convey the title, as the apple is not a very good looking one. Also its front is totally black and the bg color is not inviting. |

| I love this in its simplicity. The DOF and the lighting are great. I hate that many will just see an apple, that they will think you don't understand lighting. You could have shot it with a black or white background (hey, I do it all the time) but for me, this set up is much more interesting, as if this apple is in a real space and a real time. Hope that makes sense. You have just taught me something; maybe made me remember is a better statement. And for that lesson, I have to give you a 10. And a fav so next time I forget I can be reminded. |

| Wouldn't call this "good" looking fruit tempting hehe. But I like the tone and simple composition of this still life. |
