I like the way the cat just blends into the background. Those eyes are unbelievable. Congratulations on 6. |

I love the color in this picture. The fact that it's highlighted by white and different tones of grey make it that much more amazing.
this cat definately looks pissed. |

This truly is an exceptional photo of an exceptional animal. How you managed to keep all those whites without popping any is amazing. I expected this to score even higher. Great photo all around. |

This one did not suck. In fact, this is a gorgeous shot of a gorgeous animal! Excellent control of the exposure to keep good levels of detail in the fur - that's hard to do with cats in general, harder with white cats. Excellent shot, great score! |

I gave this a 9. I'm not partial to pet pictures, but this is an exception. This is a true animal portrait, and you have done a great job of capturing a white animal without blowing out the detail. I like the way the fur dissolves into the white background. The pink nose and ears are perfect for this challenge, and the eyes provide the wow factor. Too bad about the tip of the right ear. |

"It was hard to get the cat to stay in the light box."
Tell me about it. I have cats charging around all over the place (except when I'm not trying to take their pictures, of course), so I just fire off millions of shots in the hopes that one or another might turn out half-way decent. This is a great set-up and great capture. It's one of the ones I didn't vote on and it scored somewhere up in a rarified atmosphere to which I cannot easily adjust, but I'll swear it was well worth it, congrats. |

Wow! Look at those different colored eyes! This is so incredibly pretty! I just love the way her fur fades into the white background, yet there is such fine detail in her white features! Good luck with this one! It's beautiful! |

Wonderful lighting and detail in this photo. Nice job of getting a white background (for the most part) in place for this. Only minor complaint I have is the composition; it would be stronger if the cat wasn't centered, and if both ears were included. Last, and certainly a very, very minor point - if you are going to use your pet as a subject a little extra attention to details like grooming might help a little (fur under the chin is kind of matted and would look nicer combed out). I know, I know...it's a cat, but still. :D Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

What an interesting face on this cat! It's difficult to photograph white fur. Looks like you did a nice job here. |

I like the David Bowie eyes! It would have been good to see a bit more detail in the coat, and it is a shame that the tipof one ear has been cut off. |
