I really like the composition of this photograph. The color tones a good as well. The use of grain doesn't really seem to fit with it though.

Very nice. It's a "Norman Rockwell" kind of setting. I also like the slow shutter with the flag baton.

I dislike the tretment that you have given to this photo - or is it just excessive digital noise? Either way, I am not keen. The backgound with the marshall and spectators also detracts from the drama of the image.
