Now for something completely different for DPC - :-P

I made enough to pay for my camera and lens with this shoot - how did YOU do with your Free Study shot?

The client's thrilled, I've got money in my pocket, and the voters put me at the back of the pack. What kind of photography are we "trying to learn" here anyway?

Congrates on the $$$$. It Does appear that unless the voters see what is there style in photography, there must be something wrong with yours. I have left my reasons on my image for the voters to read.

Nice product photo. I like how everything is blended together to capture the product and the user.

If these pills help one get to sleep then this works really well (composition and lighting wise this is also really good). Otherwise for supplement I think some other surroundings would work better.

Very good job on the glass and water. Details are very good, and as an ad photo I believe it works pretty well. Better light on the product and even a highlight of some sort on the person in the back might make it a good, though not necessarily the best, ad photo you can do.

Looks like a pretty good product shot. I'd expect the background with the gentleman sleeping to be darker, though, with maybe a bit of a spotlight to see just enough to show he is sleeping. Using darker sheets might help with that illusion a bit too.

As an advertisment shot, it does the business, but as a standalone photograph, it doesn't mean a great deal to me.
