I love this image. Very stark, high contrast. The perspective is excellent, lighting gives a very nice gritty mood to the photo. Perfect silhouette. This is only a minor issue, but I wish the whole wall or whatever is being stood on was in focus. Very nice. 9

Great shot!! I think this truly exemplifies all alone. I feel the silhouette was essential to making the photo work. I love that you can tell the subject is out on the edge of a great expanse. Good job!!

A little grainy, but I think it works in this particular case. I think I would have actually cropped some off the bottom to remove all traces of the sand and some of the unfocused board.

i like the silohuette idea. perhaps zooming out, with figure smaller, more would give an even greater sense of 'alone'

This is a beautiful image and truely captures the challenge. The only downside is the lack of focus on the close part of the wall.

Excellent. Almost looks like the boy is a black cardboard cut out. Very well done indeed, and says "Alone" very nicely.
