Charlie I didn't know I follow in you footstep of chasing the brown.
I like your blue's work the other three blue won the brown How about a month ago someone won the blue ribbon by naming thier picture "Blue". Now these day your work up in the upper class nice. Maybe some day I will be up there too.

Love the colors, not too fond of the stick-in-the-sand-mound focal point.

The stick seems to cut the shot in half and block the view of the lovely scene. I think this composition would work better if the mound and stick were off to the side.

The blue doesn't seem very natural in this shot. Maybe a little less saturation would help.

I do not see the tide as the central focus of this image - the twig is directly in the center.
