 A Lovebird at the Auckland Zoo. I shot this through the cage so I'm quite happy that it has come out like it did. A slightly larger aperture would have been better as the little fella is a bit soft on the right side for my liking.

Beautiful detail in the feathers, thought its just gone off before the eye on the right. Possibly needs just one stop more to get that extra little depth of field.

Nicely cropped and good background for the bright bird.
