contarst too high, too much black space, angle doesn't add, background too busy |

Too contrasty,losing the details in the black. The tiltd board does nothing for me aesthetically, and I can make little sense of it. |

The diagonal is forced. There are so many diagonal possibilities with a chess board, that tilting the camera seems unnecessary. |

Diagonal composition feels forced; maybe a perspective from a corner looking up onto the board? Lighting is a bit harsh, background not adding to the image. |
