 taken with a magify glass. Desaturated the colors.

This is a little berry that was on my wild rose bush in the backyard.

I like the color treatment here, but the greyscale makes the leaves look muddy and dull.

Very interesting. I like the desaturation, the bit of color left really brings out the solitary aspect of the subject. Great focus on both the leaves and the bulb thing. The biggest negative impact for me though is the border. It seems intensely overdone and adds too much white. Perhaps just the inner thin border would've been sufficient. 7

Wow, great shot! I wish there were more leaves around it so you could truly see it was "all alone" but still a high score.

The seperation of color really makes the subject leap out at you. The composition is very nice.

The border is too much. A simple shot like this would've held enough water on its own.
