Wonderful job. You were able to capture the real essence and mood of feeling alone. The blackness...only lighting the facial features which communicate emotion...good stuff.

Very evocative image. The facial expression is wonderfully emotive and the use of b&w helps bring the mood out extremely well. Great lighting and focus. Well done. 9

Effective photo. When just looking at the image without knowing the title, you can see sadness, whether the sadness is from loneliness, mourning, or anything else. I think when you get down to the pure emotions like this, it makes it easier for any person to "feel" the photo. Well done.

Maybe a little light on the eyes but otherwise, I like this shot very much for the challenge.

Awesome low-key shot the gives an excellent feeling of loneliness. The focus is dead on and the expression is priceless. Wonderful job!

Outstanding. The nose down is a little soft, I think this should have been either sharp or soft, not a combination. Excellent use of B&W.9
