| nice use of the rule of thirds. but given the quality of these open challenges submitting a bird shot (nothing against birds mind you) that isn't tack sharp will result in a score that could be a blow to your ego. |

| Nice catch. Too bad the focus on the sparrow wasn't sharper. The red seems to be a little too intense. On my monitor, the bird appears to have more red than brown in the head, wings, and tail. The bokeh is very nice. |

| Nice photo, but a bit blurry. Unsharp mask or high pass overlay would have cleaned it up enough. |

| A photo with a single centered subjects and deliberately out of focus background really has to have the subject in focus to work |

| Good color and nice shot, but it is way out of focus. I too have some that ahhh if only it was sharper. |

| The sharpness and feather detail has gone. Possibly the bird moved slightly during the exposure |
