You caught a nice mood to the shot. the elements on the top left are a bit distracting above the child's head, I might have cropped them out and it might add a bit more drama to the shot. THe little piece of white by his chin is a bit jarring too but that is a simple fix. Was thinking if you used a reflector you might get more eye detail without throwing off the modd of the shot . nice

Wonderful portrait. The tone and the child's expression really brings out the feeling of sadness and fits the challenge very well. Great lighting, focus is good. Very emotive picture. The white border I don't like, doesn't really mesh with the photo. Nice job! 8

That black object behind the child's face is really disturbing for my taste. As well as a white something under his mouth.

Great expression on the child's face. He does look lonely. I feel that this works well with the theme even though it is so tightly cropped, where as most people have a lot of space around their subjects.
