 This shot was taken in St. George, UT. Yes it's an LDS temple, my wife's grandmother was married in this temple many years ago. She has wanted me to take a photo of this beautiful building for quite some time now. At the beginning of this month she was in Alaska visiting some family fell; and broke her hip. She's been stuck up there for the entire month going through rehab and should be home for Christmas. I hope this does well, I love the lighting in this shot.


**Post Challenge**

Well, not bad placement IMHO. There was a lot of great work in this challenge. To answer the question of the suspect lighting I used a graduated ND filter on this shot. That is why the lighting effect is so dramatic.

And nope this shot is not an HDR, just a single exposure.

good sharp, and well framed shot, but the lighting is a bit suspect, the top of the building is a little dark

Is this some HDR? Looks good, I like the gradient of light down the face of the building. Not much else to say about this one, wish the grass and foilage was a bit lighter, but that's all.
