This has nice composition - I do like landscapes done in portrait mode, but the other comments you've received make some good points, especially as far as garnering votes here. I went looking through your portfolio a bit and the one you should have entered is Colorado river 2 - that one has far more interesting light, and better color and contrast. Definitely some gorgeous locations you've been shooting in! |

I was noticing the lack of comments, then I noticed you didn't even comment yourself.:) The lone commenter said the color and contrast were the problem. I think it is the light. The foreground has no interesting light on it. With advanced editing, you might be able to do something about that. You have a beautiful scene and composition to work with.
