Not sure if the area you shot in would allow this, but I think if the person was in the bottom right corner of the photo, looking into the frame, it could improve the photo. But I don't know what was left of this frame so maybe it wasnt possible. |

I just don't get the darkness of the B&Ws. Crop off half of the back side and it would be a decent photo. |

A great location for solitude, although as a viewer I don't care so much what's behind the woman as what she might be contemplating. |

Very nice image. I like the use of b&w here. Lighting helps give a nice peaceful, contemplative mood. Fits the challenge perfectly, and I like the general appeal. Good use of a natural 'everyday' space. The scene looks very pretty as well, I'd love to be sitting there! Well done. 8 |

Like the title. So many levels of meaning. You did a good job of converting to b/w. Perfect for giving it moodiness. If I could offer my opinion. The wideness of the shot brings in a lot more information than needs to be there. The stairs take away from your center of focus. You might also be able to get a more balanced exposure by getting in closer to the woman. |

Very nice lonely shot, a bit dark for me tho, loses the detail. |
