 Taken at Auckland Zoo on a behind the scenes tour. The lion was coming up to us at the fence to get some Wiskas Cat Milk.

Picture has been balanced using levels and curves. Turned in to Monochrome using the Channel Mixer. Saturation tweaked using Hue/Sat and then the contrast tweeked using an Orange Photofilter adjustment overlay layer.

I like this image because it spooked me at first. The eyes grabbed me right away. 8 for me.

That stare just chills me to the bone. Great capture. I think there's some very slight motion blur, but other than that, brilliant comp. bump

Nice use of concept, but would be more fitting if the fence wasn't there. Would like to see sharper focus on the eyes.

Not familiar with the movie so I can't really comment as to the connection this image fits/doesn't fit to the James Bond theme. However, as a photograph I can say I like the way you've filled the frame with the lion and this photo has potential, unfortunately, it's too blurry (can't find anything in focus) to reach it's full potential. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

I love the close up of the lion. Too bad the fence is in the way - it really takes away from the title. Without the fence, "A view" would have really taken more meaning!
