| I like the textures and idea behind this photo. The focal point - purple thistle - could be sharper and better lighted. |

| Good interpretation of the subject, very appropriate title for the photo and overall a good photo. I like it a lot, but would habe liked the "alive" bit of the photo to be more striking. I know it would affect the composition, but moving a bit so that your purple flower is closer to the lens and adjusting your DOF could make a difference. Trying different lighting options could also help. Have you considered trying the same shot at night? Good luck. |
