 Bond's winning hand from Casino Royale, shot on my desk using my friend Chris' Poker set, with a guest appearance from my cell phone. Oh, it's my $300 too. Lighting with three ikea lamps at various angles. Camera on tripod. Didn't have any green felt, so I used a pair of hospital scrubs.

Captured as raw, white balance and brightness adjusted in Adobe Lightroom beta 4.1, exported as jpg (640, 75%).

Post: i'm excited by the response, although i was hoping for a slightly higher average. apparently those who didn't see the movie were a little puzzled by the cell phone. oh, well... i'm still very happy

Thanks for the pm Asim! Will be going to see the movie this weekend. Shame about the score, I'd have thought it would have done better too. I gave it a 7 because I could see a lot of thought went into it and I knew it couldn't be that easy for everyone to get the perfect props/models for a challenge like this. Glad you included an image of your setup here as well. Always great to peek behind the scenes :) Great effort, well done!!

I love the detail that you went into on this. Even so far as to have Elipsis on the cell.

Hey cool, he got a message from Le Chiffre! :) Nice idea but I think composition and processing could be better. Try to add more contrast and play around with the colors to get a cooler look.

Thanks, I've just spent the last 5 minutes with my head tilted all the way over and I still can't read what's on the phone screen... ;P Oh well, I take it, it has something to do with the movie? Haven't seen it yet, but very much looking forward to it now. Great image, I like it a lot, good luck! :)
