the idea is ok, but the dirty fingernails really distract...lighting is a little harsh

Very nice. Excellent crisp focus. The only problem for me is the harshness of the flash(?) on the globe. Other than that, a great entry for the challenge. Good luck! bump

This is a fun idea. I like the composition very much, and the concept is a good one. You might try simply finding more interesting light than your flash. Outside in the full shade on a bright day is great, or an overcast day is also nice for a shot like this.

What about putting in another globe or another red ball which signifies another world.. :) just a thought though. I like this originality
