Thank you all for your comments, all them are very helpful and will help me to improve. I especially appreciate jasonlprice comments, thank you for your sincerity. Hope the following explanation clarify a little my entry.
I realize that my idea for this challenge was quite abstract, water as basis of life. The human body is 70% of water, the first thing that we look for in other planets to find out if life was or is possible is water,etc

The idea is great, but something seems a bit off. Might be the grey tone to the colors, or the shadowy area to the bottom left.

I don't get your interpretation but I hate to count off because I can't figure it out....I'm giving this a 4 because it has nothing that interests me in it. I do like the smoothness and the glares add a little something... I can't tell if it is in focus or not either because I don't know what I'm looking at. I'm sorry for the somewhat low vote and hope you are ok with my weak explanation of why.

As a biology major, I have to give this a good score.. unfortunately I don't know if it will seem to meet the challenge to others. Good luck.

Good capture and detail on the ripples but the gray color and the spots throughout drag this image down.
