Flower I have had dried in a dish since the summer. Wrapped a bit of wire around the stem and hung it above the background to eliminate shadow. Lit from below and above (below being the background in this shot - 1500 watts on floor pointing up through glass table with light tent on it). flower is about 6 inches off the bottom. 1500 watts from above.

I would have prefered a different background. Great detaile though, very sharp and great lighting just the same.

I think this shot would have been really stunning if the background was black instead of white. Would be much more dramatic, I find the white is just too white.
