I really like this idea. I think if the whole avocado were in the photo, I would score it quite a bit higher. As it is, though, my eye is immediately drawn out to the side. 5.

Nice simple image. Maybe a slightly different angle on the avocado to show off more of the smooth green would have been nice, but teh image has a good feel to it nonetheless.

Very nice lighting and pretty picture. The one thing that bugs me is that it looks like it's been under the light for a long time.
