Last minute entry, although the idea has been cooking on the back burner for some time. I had to drive to work at 11:20PM as Comcast upgraded my internet service so that it is broken at present. Hope the drive was worth it, that at least someone appreciates the result.
Real skull, courtesy of my departed grandfather James who was an osteopath physician and surgeon. Ivy (sorry, not fig) leaves are glued to a pipe cleaner, and arranged to cover most of the seam where the top of the skull is removeable. The lower leaf covers a wire where a spring attaches to hold the jaw in place. On the shopping list is a roll of seamless so I can fix my backgrounds. The earthworm is real.

| Would have been better without the edge of the background and table.. lighting is a little flat .. I like the idea though! Nice work with the setup! |

Technicals: lighting is fairly good. I wish we didn't have the line in the background. Using one piece of whatever for your background can remove this. Composition is fairly static.
The Feel: I like the idea. Creative with the title. There isn't a whole lot of "wow" here. Still life shots can have wow with creative lighting or a dynamic composition. That's lacking here.
