Shoot on a tripod early afternoon with the sun almost facing the camera.
A polarizing filter was mounted onto the lens.
Took few general corrections of color and contrast.
Goods and services (yellow cap) were selected and kept in color with the couple in the middle and the tree.
Then cropped.

You have an interesting location to actually get a good shot. Too bad you didn't really make good use of it. I am so sorry to say that. I hope you get closer to your subject next time.

shot of a market definitely echoes the challenge theme. but that's about all. there's no composition and timing to talk about at all. just a grabbed shot.

I don't understand your choice of what is in color and what is black and white. Good title though!

Haphazard use of colors - just don't quite get it. It would have been more direct if you'd stuck to the lady in blue, and her honey :) Also a lot of disturbing artifacts/cars/trees etc. This photo would benefit from the old advice: If you want a better picture, get nearer to the subject.

The use of selective desaturation is kinda weirding me out on this one, frankly. What was the point?

Interesting use of the desat. Perhaps a few less highlights left in colour would increase the impact further.

LOL! Really got me looking close to see if I could spot her. I can and it just makes everything really awesome, like I am looking directly into such a private moment in the middle of a croud.
