This is about the birds, and the sky is completely white, so I don't see this as meeting the challenge.

Unfortunately, the sky is the least interesting thing in this photo and considering sky was the main theme of this challenge, I can't vote much higher than a 3.

there is actually an absence of sky here. It doesn't quite meet the challenge for me, plus with the expert editing, you could have added a sky to this. 4

I see what you are going for, and I like this image as a whole, but when I look at it I don't see sky. I wish maybe there were some details in the background to tell me what I was looking at (although then of course the image would probably look too busy).

The sky in this case is flat white. Not exactly interesting as a sky shot per se.

Great B&W here. This one needs to go in one of those black and white coffee table books. Well done. The sky thing is a stretch. Not much of a sky, but it certainly is a sky, so no points docked. Well done!
