Not mine, I took this chap on Saturday when I was out shaking my charity tin. His owners kindly gave a few quid...

I cloned out a few bits in his fur,

Ian this is so beautiful! I love that gorgeous face in the sea of soft furry white! Can't figure out why it only scored 5.8 tho.

Great job!

I believe this picture needs little bit of sharpness/DOF, but a very good crop.

Charlie looks like a beautiful breed of downy white Samoyd. If I'm wrong then I am wrong about the breed but not the beautiful downy white fur or the lovely face that stares back at the viewer in this well-done portrait. I like how you really bring the viewer face-to-face with Charlie by giving us a close cropped view of this dog's beautiful face.

6 - Like the concept. Wish both of Charlie's eyes were as sharp as his right is. Nose in focus too, but even as is still good. Like to have seen this a little wider and 640 height too.

Would like to see more detail in the muzzle area.

One thing that gets me about your shot is. {Charlie} eyes, both eyes are close to power points of the thrid, but seeing your reflection kills it, just should see the dogs eyes. It is about the pet. Also maybe tighter crop, right below the dogs chin, maybe 10 or 20 percent. I think this will leave a fair amount of contrast on such a white shot.

Stunning. (Not that it affects the picture, but do I see a reflection of the photographer, elbows out, characteristic pose, in Charlie's left eye?

Nice full frame composition. The nose looks a little OOF to me.
