My family and i took an evening drive down a new road this time. Very rocky, with great views of the mountains. Makes me wish i was a rancher, to own land like this.

The dust from the truck doesnt show up well in this picture but it was the only one that really showed the road which is what the point was, a dirt road. Levels, contrast, dodge burn. Seperated the truck, road and sky and made color corrections etc on each.

I like this shot and gave it a 7. The countryside looks like it might be vast, and I think I would like the shot better if I could see more of the landscape. The land on the sides of the road is a little dark, and the road is cut off by the hill -- doesn't lead anywhere. I like the truck, which lends to the rural aspect of the image.

When I first looked at this photo, my thought was "almost brilliant." I say "almost" because the sky looks a little oversaturated, and the truck is not bright enough to draw the eye in. I wonder how it would look with just a bit of dodging on the truck...

I really like the composition here, and sense of desolation mixed with beauty of sunset.

I quite like the inclusion of the truck bed - really is perfect for this shot and what it conveys.

I like this picture but kept trying to decide if the truck was an asset or a distraction. I think maybe if we could see just a little less of it, and still the same amount of road, it would be great! Still scoring it high.

Not much of big interest in this pic. I can see why you would want to keep rolling. It's much better than streets lined with housing developments though.

Doesn't need quite so much sky; would be MUCH better with dust kicked up behind the truck or a view of another vehicle kicking up dust.

A nice rural capture. I'm not sure if the side of the truck helps or hurts. 6

Nice. It does give the feel of going down a country road. I like the fence silhouette in back. I wonder if you could get some dust from the wheels in it to make it more realistic, and maybe place the horizon line a bit higher in the frame to give it a more dynamic look. ~7

I think I would have liked this better without the truck.

There's somehting about this shot that I really love. I can't stop looking at it. I wonder where they came from, where they are going, where they are...it's so lonely looking. I really like the composition. Great job.
