background is very distracting, I trying to figure out whats in the back taking my attention away from the dog. I would have like to see a sparkle in the dogs eye to draw my attention more to it. |

3 - Looks a bit snapshottish, however your title is quite amusing in contrast. Different background would have helped this. Looks like some pixelation issues as well. Frame detracts in my opinion. |

I think this is a handsome young dog and wished there were more of her and less of the fussy albeit textured contrast background. |

Cute idea and cute pup. My only gripe is that your background is busy. You have the lace, which looks ok, but I can still see the other pattern under it. Try to keep your background simple and plain. :) |

The set-up is cute but the choice of background is way too distracting for the viewer to fully appreciate the poochie. The lace background is good to create the illusion of a white christmas or snow but one has to remember you can see through it. And there is alot of distracting colors and objects behind that lace backdrop. Placing a solid white cloth behind the lace one will help create a subtle idea of a white christmas/snow AND provide a solid white background for Athena to visually stand out on. As the composition stands now she is just lost in a jumble ot colors and textures that don't allow her to shine as the main subject. |

cute dog, the background needs to be solid to really make the dog pop here |

Love this shot. I think that perhaps, had the background been blurred just a bit, it might have put more focus on Athena. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think that it's the "busyness" of the detail in the lace background and what's under it that's causing a bit of "distraction" from the subject in the photo??? I could be wrong, but just my own perspective on an otherwise GREAT photo. |

Contrast is too much, the brown blends in too much. |

so what does the title have to do with the image. It actually hurts the presentation of the image
The on camera flash is distracting - the hard shadow is a giv away the tag at the fromt of the lace should have been obscured in some way. I think that the angle that this image was shot is awkward. Sorry for the toughness |
