This is a wonderful portrait. Great DoF, composition, lighting and detail. The cat pose looking up and out of the frame makes the shot.

7 - You've captured his beauty well, especially with the range of colors and your control of them. Obviously you've opted for the ear chop, undecided on it, but does work as is anyway in my opinion. The background color complements this / him well. Just like to have seen the eyes a little more, 'somehow'.

Crop is too tight for me. Nice sharpness and color. I might also like this better if the cat was looking more in the direction of the camera.
