 I havent had much inspiration come my way when thinking about the FS this month. Not many trips to the zoo and really no architecture that comes to mind that I would like to shoot. I have been wanting to do more portrait type shots but I really dont have alot of models at my disposal. But I do have one - and he has been more than helpful lately.

Aidan does this eyebrow thing that just cracks me up (of course I am his dad). And he can do it pretty much on cue. I took him outside telling him I wanted to take a pic of him doing "the look" and he was more than happy to oblige. He can actually get that one eyebrow much higher than it is in this shot but I felt it was the best of the bunch. I also shot a good number of real smiles and laughs as he would bust out in between when he couldn't hold the pose any longer. He done real good. I know this won't ribbon, probably not even make a 6, but this is why I bought the camera and I sure do love this image. That's my boy!

What I find funny about this picture is that my own son went through a phase about this age where ever picture of him had a similar "pirate" look. We would say smile and he would close one eye.

Tim? I think this is yours. I've been noticing this a lot in your photos lately, the skin tones are blotchy, red and look as if they have too much neat image. You've been scoring pretty well, though, so maybe I am the only one who doesn't like it.
