post challenge: Don't try this at home. I used an aluminum coated mylar sheet over my telescope to get the shot. Photographing the sun is dangerous. You can burn out your camera sensor or worse, your retina of your eye.

Interesting from a academic point of view. Artistically its kinda blah though

I wanted to dismiss my 1st reaction to your photo to remember that I was hoping for something other than the calendar shots offered in this competition. That said, I love the interpretation, however it "reads" like a high school textbook.

I really hope this does well for you! I would love to be able to capture this myself.

This is a good exemple what a free editing challenge can do... There is no more limits to the differents approach to photography. Good job.

I don't get it... there is no focal point that i can see, nothing draws me to this photo! Sorry!

While a very interesting image, it just doesn't say "sky" to me. Something in the sky is not the same as the sky.

I'm not sure why this is in a sky challenge.

Nothing much to see here. Over all it's a little boring. I realize to an astrologist, or a sky watcher it's VERY exciting. Sorry doesn't really do much for me.

Too clinical for my taste, although I'm sure this was fun to capture.
