what can i say? shots i put effort into, shots i wanted to say something to the viewer: dnmc, don't get it, doesn't scream whatever to me, etc. cheesiest, most mundane shot i ever took (i'm talking about the peacock one) gets the red ribbon. i'm proud though that some of my lowest scoring images were selected as someone's favorites and got some nice comments. at least there are still SOME out there that "get it". |

I didn't get a chance to vote on this challenge, but I looked through them. When I saw this one, I thought "this is an EXCELLENT recreation of the album cover, but most folks here won't get it". Unfortunately, I see I was right. Even though you didn't get the votes you deserved, I think this was one of the best images in the competition as it relates to the subject. Abstract? Definitely. Fits the challenge? Perfectly. Well done. |

Think you can immediately chalk up all the 1, 2 and 3 voters as people who've probably never seen a Floyd album prior to Dark Side of the Moon. Sorry to see this got hammered, it was a nice recreation of the cover. |

good recreation, now that's some 'bad bokeh'! |

Sorry but this to me is just an severely out of focus blown out mess, nothing artistic about it to me personally, was pretty easy to vote this a 1. However, if you like it, by all means keep it up, just because I don´t "get it" :) |

Too much out of focus. Would be great if we can get a little focus. Anyway, good try. |

It's certainly obscured by something. An inexplicable five for this abstract. |

Sorry this one just doesn't work for me. It looks like your autofocus was broken imho. |

It would be better if we could make out what was obscured. |

Wow... an almost exact copy of a cover! I hope most will realize what you have done here...
One of the better Floyd albums, too! |

stunning gorgeosity. beauty is something that must be discovered over and over again. You somehow found a new way to it. 9 |

That's a little too abstract. |

Clouds? I just see some bokeh with no subject at all. I don't get this picture at all. Edit: After looking at the link, I see what you mean. Daring to enter this. I still think photography wise, it is a very narrow shot. But brave! |

great bokeh... great reference too... I had to double check to see that this wasn't the original! |
