I think if the light could reach a bit farther to his right side, just to give more hint of his eye, it work better. A very well done portrait, nevertheless. |

I like this. The fact that you have to look at the photo for a while for all elements to register with your eyes is a plus in my mind. I have to say, in this challenge, I have a similar entry - I'm drawn to this shot as a result. The framing is interesting and out of the ordinary, and the ultra-high contrast is nice and adds to the overall feel of the shot. Good luck. |

Very cool angle, and great lighting effect. On my monitor I can see a couple distractions on the darker side of his face. Maybe left there on purpose? Great image. |
