 Woooo yeah, new personal best! I've been trying to dislodge Daisy forever! Anyway, I didn't go to any great lengths to get this photo. It was taken at the former YMCA behind my apartment complex the day after blizzard #2 rolled through Denver. I couldn't have really gone anywhere if I'd tried, but the sky was blue and I figured the soccer field would be pristine since no one was going out. Sadly, the YMCA's property has been purchased by the city for an expansion to the water treatment plant across the street, so this is all going to be gone very soon.

Yep, I bet I can guess where you live. I was trying to find a way to shoot the snow, but I could never figure anything out. I can see here that you did a fantastic job.

The difficulty with the DPC background shade is that it's actually quite bright - soa high-key shot, as snow inevitably is, sometimes requires something to separate it from that background. Here, although your exposure is perfect, nevertheless many of the broad field tones of your image are very close to that shade. It's one example of a situation where I think some kind of border would serve you well to maintain the integrity of the image against that field of grey. Nice picture, but a bit twee for my taste.
