Hey there from the Critique Club

The first thing that strikes me about your image is the size. Smaller images always get hammered by the voters. There are some tutorials available to help with properly sizing images for the challenges. If you use PaintSHop, check HERE, and if you use PhotoSHop, check HERE.

Get this sizing issue handled, and I believe that your scores will fare much, much better. As far as the quality of the image goes, I'll echo the opinions of other voters that offered comments. There really is no focal point of the image, thus nothing really grabs the eye to offer any appeal. I can tell that it is sticky, but, without the title, I really couldn't see what it was. Work on your focus, as well as getting those images as large as possible.

Holy Crap this did terrible! This goes to show you that hurrying and submitting something at the last second dont fair all that well.

I pinky swear that I'll try to improve.... besides you can only go up from here...right?

Looks extremely unappetizing. What are the black things? Overall, not a pleasing composition.

Honestly, it's just not appealing. There's no real focal point to look at, and without the title, I wouldn't have known what this was. It's also sized way below the allowable dimensions. I'm afraid it just has a look as though it was taken with a cell phone camera, or something like that.

Missing the wow factor - but good luck

White balamce looks off on my screen; some of the marshmallows have a pink tinge and there are pink spots on the spoon.

THis is out of focus and really hard to tell what it is. At first I thought it was cheesy potatoes.

Good idea for "sticky", it does look sticky. It would be nice if the image were larger (you can go up to 640 pixels on the longest side, or 640 px square). I like the colour of the marshmallows. However, as it is, it is not a winning shot. It looks a bit blurry, and it doesn't have all that much of interest in it overall. I like how you got the pan so nice and black. ~4

I'm sorry but this looka alarmingly similar to tuna noodle cassorle with extra cumin, maybe becuse it's so out of foucus a can't distinguish anything.

Looks more like potato salad in all actuality.
The challenge allowed up to 640 pixels on the long side, and at 300, this falls very short and will hurt your overall score.

I am sure that is very sticky, but it looks so unappetizing ...

White balance looks off (shouldn't they be white?). Also image could be larger.

Be sure to use the full size of image allowed. This is too small to judge properly.

This photo meets challenge but it is to dark, out of focus, to small and the colors are off.
