 I was interested in capturing the shadows of the leaves, then this spider appeared. Thanks to Magnus for holding things still on this breezy day.

beautiful colors, very nice separation between subject and background, appropriate border, the bit of web adds a nice touch; one of my favs in this challenge

The coloring of the leaves is simply wonderful, and the fine details are nicely sharp. The choice of dof does well to isolate the leaves, and I love the sun-lit spider thread leading out of the frame. It's almost a shame the spider shadow is there! It meets the challenge and has a wonderful autumn feel to it. Well captured.

I like the thought, but I would have made the spider larger or cropped the left a bit. The colors and contrasts are great.
