 The shadow is supposed to represent what the girl is thinking. She is depressed and is thinking about killing herself

Used the same light for the shadow and for her face.

Great concept! She is very well lit, but wish the shadow were slightly crisper.

You gotta quit using the same girl all the time. I think we're on to her by now. Share the ribbons too dude :) You've done some great work and they are deserved. This one, I'm not so wild about. Good luck to you all the same.

An interesting image. I like the energy between the two focal points. Unfortunately, the shadow is a little too soft. Its hard to determine (for me) what exactly is going on. It looks like the person is hanging or has been thunked in the head with something. I wish the shadow had just a bit more sharpness. Great focus on the girl, I like that only part of her face is showing. Very nicely done. 8

7. Good portrait focus. I would like to see a version with more right side crop. Leaving just the corner of the mouth and nose.
