Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha again. Laughs himself to the point of not being able to drink any more of his St Emilion. Someone - and a fine judge at that - mistook your work for mine.
Interesting how the appearance of a line can so finely depend on your perspective - there's arguably a lesson for all those who'd like to change your point of view there. |

Reading some of the comments really makes me laugh, esp. one's saying that they don't understand the composition, suggesting that you move to the left, and those offering you better luck for next time. I gave this a 9 simply because I can't give everything a 10 and also maybe because of the white speck in the black part on the right that looks something like the reflection of a leaf. Maybe if this was bigger I would actually like it but this small I think it takes away from the blackness. |

Like it tons. Very fitting, dark and Floydian.

Goodbye.
Goodbye.

Although I like this photo a lot (perspective is especially strong) I had trouble associating it with the title. 7. |

I almost like the composition, the black right half is not really doing it for me and I think I would have liked the comp. better if you had taken a step or two to the left. Dig the b/w conversion but could stand to be a bit brighter for my taste. 6 from me. |

I'm confused about the black on the righthand side. Also, the darks are very dark and you lose definition towards the bottom of the stairs, which may have been what you were going for, but since you can see detail again beyond that point it wasn't all that effective. If you were implying loss of detail as you go down it might have been best to crop while in the dark part at the bottom. |

Not the most appealing subject in the challenge. This image in black and white makes it difficult to understand what you are looking at. Where does the wall end and the stairs start? I don't think it will do that well, so better luck next time, but keep trying. |
