The idea was that a shadow of Christ as an infant would have been in the shape of a cross. I know it is ultra religious, but we share ideas, peacefully, right?

I do not like the fair skin of the people, and I would rather have a more accurately colored set, but I figure it is like this since it is porcelein.

I cut a cross out of a piece of paper and stuck it in a square candle to make it stand up. Then, I put it at the far edge of the kitchen table and put a flashlight in front of it. Then, I set Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus on the near edge of the table, blocking the flashlight and paper cross.

Very small aperture number and long exposure. Did some color correction and saturation in post processing as well as cropping it.

Born to die that we may live. You missed the important part of that title.

7. Appropriate title. Well framed shot.

I think you unpurposely trivialize the Incarnation, and were tricky with the photo, so I give you a one. But I do it it love.

Borned so we can live. I like the shot except the dark bottom, which appears to cut of another nice shadow potential.
