You executed the idea beautifully. I so love the blue sky behind the bowl and the upshot really works. I also considered doing this for "our" lyric (rummaged through my brain for all sorts of souls - tissue paper, toile, dye, etc and then finally chickened out and drew them, which definitely had its problems). I would have been very happy to have submitted this. |

Decent score and 7 '10's. Well deserved. I think you did and excellent job of illustrating that line. A red and blue Fighting Fish swimming gracefully would really have made this shot awesome, but that's pie in the sky, because it would have messed up your souls. |

This is creative and cool. I like the area where the two dyes seem to melt into one. I also like the continuity of the sky running through the whole photo. Great job. 8. |

...year after year... Very creative. Nicely done. 9...oh never mind...10! Because you used some different lyrics than most. Merry Christmas! |

I like the concept a lot. Would have been better for me if the left color wasn't blue like the background. Crop is neat. |

interesting symbolism - I like the crop and the glass is photographed well - just enough reflection. |

I can see where you're going with this, representing the souls with the randomly dispersing swhorls of ink and I do think it's a clever idea but visually it leaves me feeling something is missing - that it's not quite there. I can't put my finger on why. The sky background is nice too though I'd not use blue as one of the two inks infront of it - perhaps red and green inks would be better? |

the water drops are my only suggestion on this wonderful image - with that dried up this is a superb image |

I like this idea, but I think it would have been more effective with a different backdrop and if you could have seen more of the fishbowl. There are also distracting dots, maybe bubbles, in the foreground and droplets of water inside the top of the bowl. |

Neat! Love the bright colors. For me might have been better if you could see more of the bowl. |
