Enigma is actually the name of the guitar. I made it my self a few years ago. The body was hand shaped out of a piece of rock hard maple and has a quilted maple top. The neck was bought from a guitar parts supplier. The head stock was hand shaped similar to a Paul Reed Smith. The body is a cross between a Paul Reed Smith and a Rickenbacker 4001 bass. It’s fitted with a Rium-Siwel 20db gain circuit that make it scream with the maple body. The Rium-Siwel circuit was designed and manufactured by some friends, John Muir and Mike Lewis. Get it? Muir and Lewis spelled backwards. Anyhow, the plan was to make a couple dozen guitars by now. Unfortunately, this is the only one ever produced.

ah. I'd probably hate how that sounds but the picture looks pretty cool

That guitar looks fantastic. You had me drooling as I read your description. I bet it sounds gorgeous as well as looking great. With a better border, I'll bet you could have placed a lot higher. BTW, I love your portfolio.

The heavy black border is really too much. concept of the photo is decent and it is well taken.

Beautiful shot, original and creative idea. Gorgeous lighting. I could possibly have given this a 10, but I'm afraid your huge and overbearing border has ruined the photo for me. 8

Yeah, that's a little weird But interesting. The blinds are good because they give the picture continuity.

8. I really like the contrasts in color and shape. The texture is well done. My preference would be for more clarity in the guitar's body and strings. The border is a bit wide, however I am fast becoming a fan of borders.

the gigantic border detracts from this. I see the appeal of a big black border but one half or a third this size would have less of an overpowering effect with the same drama.
