The reflection and land mass shape make this a very nice vertical composition. Winter colors with the blue and white sky and clouds and almost still water make this a relaxing image to view for me. The 640 size format does not do justice to what the image must look like in full scale, as the details in the trees are too small to resolve as it is on line here.
It's a classic example of a difficult to judge horizon, as the shapes and contours tend to fool the viewer's perception of level.
When you have time perhaps you could post some comment about how you captured this image, for instance, from a boat or on shore.
I'm wondering if you tried shooting the same scene from a lower or higher angle to see what it would look like? In the right side I see what may be interesting shaped water areas if captured from a 10 or 12 ft ladder. |

what nice looking clouds!
the horizon appears to be somewhat tilted towards the right tho, or maybe it's just an illusion. but either way, it got me a little dizzy if looking at it for too long. |
