Don't you just kick yourself when you only take "one, random, totally thoughtless photo" for a challenge and it does better than your excruciatingly planned and elaborate ones?

Simplicity rules in my book. And it's a crisp image, with delicious colors.

That really is a good shot, love the texture, seems you can pretty much just reach into the screen and touch the sand. Great color too and that little "notch" that is almost touching the edge of the frame in the middle is very nicely placed. Great color too!

Simple, natural effect and nice colour. I wonder if some small piece of driftwood might just have made this image an extra point or two better. 8.
