You would think that if someone didn't know what it was they would google it instead of saying "I don't understand" and giving a low score. I really appreciated this as this is what took my grandmother's vision. Great job!

I found this to be a very creative entry, and appreciate the message. I think the lighting could be stronger, but overall a provocative and interesting photo.

A great creative interpretation. Don't let the score get you down.

i think the problem was that a lot of people don't know what macular degeneration is, i did not vote but if i did i probably would have giving it a 9.

Would have had the hole in the middle more fuzzy (you can see the cutting) and the background more homogenic. Otherwise a good idea.

The circle is a little rough, which takes away from this a bit, but the idea behind it is absolutely brilliant for the occupation.

Really nice skin detail in the neck. However, I know the grey dot is supposed to be there, but for me it just seems to ruin the image. Maybe a grumpy face drawn on it, or even eye holes or something.

great idea, nice colors, good lighting. would have liked fuzzier edge on greyed circle, in post processing

Dont like the big gray blob....it takes away a lot from the picture.
