| The tone is good and helps convey what I assume is a sombre mood. I also like the use of dof to bring out the dog tags as the main focal point. The only negative is the top dog tag looks a little too bright. Quite an emotive photograph. |

| I tried to let this one for the last. I didn't know what to think about it. But every time I came here to vote... I keep coming back to it. If it does this to me... then it must be a good photo.... it has something to say. I don't know if it should a ten or a nine... so I'll give it a nine for now and then I can adjust from thumbnail when I'm done with all. If will continue to haunt me... I will just turn it into a ten and be done with it. |

| I love the subject a much! :-) Her face is very touching! Maybe lighting is a bit harsch on her hand and she could be a bit sharper. Blurring her was a really good idea, but I think a bit of difference between the sharpness of the hand and face would have also done very fine. Just my opinion. |

Let me start by saying, I'm not seeing the connection between Grace and this image, but I'm sure you have your reasons...so I won't let it affect my voting.
Excellent choice on the shallow depth of field, it really emphasizes the tags in the foreground while still allowing us to make out her face, very nice. Also, black and white was the perfect choice for this image. |

| It might be me but I do not understand what this has to do with grace unless that is the woman's name. Also it is not a very good picture technically. The one tag way overexposed as is the top part of the hand which doesn't bode will with the background being as blurry as it is. |
